Do I need Power BI experience?
No. The programme starts with Power BI foundations, but intermediate Excel confidence will help you progress faster.
Can I use Power BI Desktop on a Mac?
Power BI Desktop is a Windows application. Mac learners need access to Windows through a compatible virtual machine or Windows computer.
Do I need SQL?
No. Basic SQL is helpful, but the exercises include self-contained data sources and introduce database connections gently.
Does this prepare me for PL-300?
The curriculum covers many PL-300 skill areas, but the programme prioritises practical analytics and portfolio work rather than exam coaching alone.
