01Introduction to React Native and Mobile Development

Identify and differentiate between hybrid, native and cross-platform mobile approaches. Understand the differences between Expo and React Native CLI in terms of setup, functionality, and developer experience

Install and configure Node.js and Expo CLI to create and manage React Native projects. Connect and configure a physical device to the development environment for direct testing of React Native apps.

Identify the primary folders and files in a React Native project and key differences between React Native and React for web.

02Exploring Core Components in React Native

Understand the properties and methods associated with each component to effectively manipulate and style them. Combine the core components to create a Profile Card.

Implement basic button components and event handlers to respond to user interactions.

Understand StyleSheet.create and apply reusable styles following best practices.

03Layout and Responsive Design

Gain a comprehensive understanding of Flexbox layout concepts and build a Gallery layout.

Understand responsive design and use the Dimensions API for adaptive interfaces.

Design and implement a responsive Dashboard screen with interactive cards.

04State, Props and Navigation

Understand state management with useState by building a Counter component.

Understand props and build a reusable Item Card component.

Learn Stack Navigation and screen transitions.

Implement Tab, Drawer and nested navigation.

Add navigation to the To‑Do app with back button handling.

05Working with APIs and Data

Understand REST APIs, JSON and fetch data from an external API.

Use FlatList and SectionList to render dynamic lists efficiently.

Use the Context API to manage global application state.

06Advanced State and Device Features

Understand Redux architecture and integrate it into a React Native app.

Access camera, storage and geolocation features in React Native.

07Maps, Animation and Testing

Integrate maps and geolocation to build location-based apps.

Build an Explore Nearby feature with dynamic map locations.

Create basic animations with the Animated API.

Chain and combine animations for advanced effects.

Write unit tests with Jest.
